Inshallah
Good Morning!
Choosing to share my experience on Sunday when I drove up to Los Angeles, the Valley actually, to view over 140 Relics of the Christian Saints. We arrived back in Encinitas at the targeted time and I planned to leave immediately. When Den went to move Sundari's car, parked in front of my Jeep, it failed to start. Jumpers were no avail and I calmly advised calling Triple A.
I had a moment of pique as I had previously requested he not block my Jeep again with her car. It had happened before we left for Super when I didn't have the keys to move it and therefore could not use my car. I was happy to observe I let the exasperation go quickly.
I had been concerned about arriving to the Relic program in time as traffic was unpredictable and I also let that go. It was what it was. I was able to have fresh-picked berries and some soup which were ideal after the Master Cleanse. Since I was unable to eat again for about 8 hours this ended up to be a definite blessing. I also accomplished some other valuable tasks as I patiently waited for "roadside assistance" and the Jeep to be fueled.
I sang Light of Smiles all the way up to Van Nuys. Although Taj did not join in as he sometimes does, he did look interested. His position in the shotgun seat was not that solid so I understood his reticence in singing along, haha.
Although I got a little lost it provided the opportunity to refuel at a very inexpensive rate and we arrived at our designated church a few minutes early. This gave Taj time to stretch his legs a bit and do a little jaunt round the neighborhood. We got a good spot in the shade too, so I knew he would be O.K. during his wait.
I was able to sit very near the front since I was alone. Sitting next to me was a very devout woman reading her prayer book. Just the pew-mate I like!
The priest opened the exposition with an interesting talk and slide show and then we all eagerly filed out to the hall in which the relics were laid out.
I immediately lined up to visit the piece of the True Cross of the Crucifixion. I felt intense energy streaming from it....I have no doubt it is what it is claimed to be. The priest had explained that the mother of the first Christian emperor of Rome, Constantinople, had located the True Cross. She had discovered where it was presumed to be buried. There were many crosses uncovered there. She found a man who was on the verge of death and had him laid upon each one. When he was completely healed after being laid upon one cross, she knew THAT was the True Cross of Christ.
I was thrilled to discover that several of my daily "Saint posse" were represented in the Relic Collection: John the Baptist, Francis, Clare, Petite Therese, Anthony of the Desert, and Mother Mary. I returned to most of these several times and placed the Reliquary on my heart with deep reverence and prayer. I also placed the little mala and necklace I wear daily and my two wrist malas on the face of each reliquary. The holy vibrations therein permeated these revered objects of my own.
As I was leaving I met an old woman on a bench outside the hall. She explained that she had just spent 16 hours on a flight from the Philippines and was just too weary to go inside. I asked her if she had special saints she wished to 'visit' as I might be able to guide her directly to those. She mentioned St. Francis and I took her by the hand and we found Him immediately among the row upon row of relics. She happened to rever some others of those I did, so I was able to quickly get her to those as well. I then asked if she might choose to see the True Cross and Mary's Veil even though the lines were incredibly long. Again, hand in hand, I approached those at the head of the line and explained her unusual situation. They graciously allowed her to cut in and partake.
She so much resembled an exalted seeker of my own path, Brother Bimalanda, I couldn't get over it. Again outside, she joyously spoke of the miraculous healing she herself had experienced at the Relics of a certain saint in Poland. She insisted I have a little rosary and some pamphlets on a prayer practice she regularly used. The interaction was notably special and I believe it was magnetized by singing Light of Smiles the entire ride up.
I asked directions from some folks as I left. I was headed up to Inshallah and I really wasn't sure about the best route. The way they suggested seemed very long and out of the way. I thought there may be a better course. I turned the Jeep around and noticed a woman just entering her home. My intuition clearly told me to knock on her door and ask. That would be strange indeed...and I knew I must follow the instruction lamblike.
A very nice gentleman opened the door and I explained the reason I had come. He graciously invited me in and offered for me to use the restroom if needed or enjoy a glass of water if thirsty. My! The husband and wife brainstormed and offered a much quicker way. Then another man present presented a bit of a correction which even worked better!
I left with a big smile of gratitude on my face. God and my Great Ones had surely stepped in! I got to Idyllwild in record time..just over two hours from the middle of the San Fernando Valley. Astonishing.
I had deepened my Awareness, Connection, and Relationship with some of my very favorite Saints and felt such joy to be in this state as I rode up the drive of beloved Inshallah.
God is Good!
Loving you always, k
