Good Morning!
At the opening of this morning's meditation, I was speaking to my God and my Gurus. I asked Them to please assist me do more, do better! Suddenly the light went on! They are ALWAYS endeavoring to assist me, moment by moment. Assisting any of us is not only Their greatest pleasure, in another sense, it is Their JOB! It is not Their assistance I must request so much....it is my RECEPTIVITY to the inflow of Their abundant, and unceasingly love, joy, wisdom!
I amended my prayer to reflect my aha. I prayed deeply to be receptive in each moment to Their abundant gifts. My meditation was impacted by this request and I noticed I was doing more and better!
As I moved up to the altar at the end to offer my customary obeisance, I again prayed for receptivity as I offered myself and my day's activities to Them.
I believe Keeping Company with God and Gurus and receptivity go hand-in-hand. As we keep Their image and attributes in our minds, strive to be one with Them in principle, constantly endeavor to attune ourselves with Them, and most importantly, keep Them enshrined in our hearts with great Love, we become receptive and able to perceive and follow Their holy instructions lamblike!
Let's face it folks. We are mired in the Fraud World and Darkness abounds. Through Their loving Guidance and Lead we can find our way out! When the senses offer endless temptations and worries 'howl at us', we can ever turn to the always loving shelter and direction of God and Gurus (Beloved Christians, read Savior).
We can be in this world and we don't have to be 'of' it. We can enjoy the harmless good stuff and not become attached to it! Earth is not our Home...we have far, far more waiting for us as Children of the ONE. We must not lose ourselves in the tinsel and trash and forego the utter splendour and unsurpassed wonder of our true Divine Abode. It's called delayed gratification...and I trust in my Divine Teachers when They say our real legacy is Endless Bliss!
The key is to be receptive...and continue to ask to be assisted to be receptive. We have free will, They will not invade our space...we must ask if we choose Their assistance and direction. When we receive it, we must be willing to put down our egos and follow lamblike. "Heaven" awaits.
